From the very first heartbeat, Life fills the soul

Life given by the Master’s hand

Each passing hour - Our heartbeat’s toward His goal

What power we have in our control

He sent a heart to the tree to rescue you and me

His heart to the cross- To die to save the lost

With the power of His heart He paid the cost

All because - of the power of the heart

He’s given us a garden - we turned to wasted land

Thank God, it didn’t end there - In His final plan

When we reach the gate -Jesus’ reaching for our hand

All through the power of the heart

Power from the start - from the bottom of His heart

One heart was given, So we’ll be living

Filled with the power - our lives can make a stand

Through the sin cleansing power of the heart

Through the sorrow - a bright tomorrow

All through the power of the heart

As long as we are livin’ - power we’ve been given….
